I am not going to lie, this thing was a nightmare to put together. It took hours. Be prepared for frustration and head scratching. That beings said, it was totally worth it! My 8 year old has been asking for the American Girl gourmet kitchen, but I could not justify spending $250 on a toy she’ll grow out of. I got this one for her birthday and she LOVES it! This set will last years. I was surprised by the quality of the materials. This set is solid wood, even the accessories. And it comes with a ton of fun accessories. In my opinion, This little kitchen is waaay better than the AG kitchen as far as quality of the accessories, the solid wood kitchen itself, and bang for your buck. The color palette isn’t spectacular, but this is something that I could easily take apart and paint for her if she wants to update it. All the parts came undamaged and it included a few extra screws. My only complaint was that the knobs on the pantry door couldn’t be tightened all the way because the holes were too small. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this product if you have the patience to camp out for fours hours and put it together.
