Our Generation Doll by Battat- Lily Anna 18″ Deluxe Posable Equestrian Horse Riding Doll with Book & Accessories- for Ages 3 & Up

We bought this doll from Catalina Designer Goods, fulfilled by DollsByDorcel, for a little horse enthusiast, and when it came it was boxed up perfectly, The front of the doll showed no obvious hint of a problem without unpacking it. So we had no reason to examine it further, and wrapped it up anticipating her glee when she unwrapped it. Well, not only were we mortified, and shocked when the doll came out, our little girl was so disappointed. The helmet had chew marks, the clothes the doll was wearing were filthy and stained, particularly at the back. The jacket had a two inch round area chewed out of it. It looked like it had been stored improperly and had a mouse colony destroy it, and then was repackaged. So disgusting. I make that assumption that it was repackagedbased on the size of the obvious teethmarks, the round hole, and the pee stains. However there were no droppings in the box itself, and there should have been based on the amount of damage. I immediately got in touch with DollsByDorcel and was given a return auth. The doll is going back and I will be going back to brick and mortar.
