This was my 3rd miniature house from DollsByDorcel and it didn’t disappoint!! My first kit had the printed items either punched out or were stickers and certainly I appreciated that sooooo much more than cutting these. However, it wasn’t an end all for me. This set I had to hand sew the pillows for the bed and couch, but that wasn’t terribly hard to do. I skipped the music box bc it just sounded creepy and I didn’t really see the point. The wiring for the lights was a tad tricky and even though I got it to work (YouTube had really good videos for LED lights), my hubby did fix it for me. I liked that a lot of the smaller pieces of railings and wood details were already painted and punched out (also sanded) in this kit. I was missing the piece to do the tiny seat in the living room, but it wasn’t a big deal. I did purchase better items to do the vines, which I haven’t added yet. I definitely didn’t have enough of the green crepe paper to do the vines, but again not the biggest deal. Overall I’m really happy with the way it turned out. I did already have a tiny tool kit to use, but you will definitely need one. I also had my own glue (I used super glue, clear glue and precision craft glue from DollsByDorcel). Oh I also used a gold gel pen in place of the gold paint on the details of the furniture. The gold paint worked well for the picture frames and other larger items, but precision wise I’m glad I had the gel pen for the rest.
