Mushroom Complex 8-in-1 is a unique blend of eight carefully selected extracts from mushroom fruiting bodies, standardised to 30% polysaccharides. Polysaccharides are complex carbohydrates that play an important role in fungal organisms, supporting their structure and function. They are among the main bioactive components present in mushrooms, which have been valued for their properties in many parts of the world for centuries. Mushroom Complex 8-in-1 contains 500 mg of Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus) fruiting body extract, DER 15:1, 500 mg of Caterpillar Fungus (Cordyceps sinensis) fruiting body extract, DER 20:1, 500 mg of Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) fruiting body extract, DER 30:1, 500 mg of Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) fruiting body extract, DER 15: 1, 500 mg of Shiitake (Lentinula edodes) fruiting body extract, DER 10:1, 500 mg of Maitake (Grifola frondosa) fruiting body extract, DER 10:1, 500 mg of Snow Fundus (Tremella fuciformis) fruiting body extract, DER 10:1 and 500 mg of Honey Mushroom (Pleurotus eryngii) fruiting body extract, DER 10:1. All extracts are standardised to at least 30% polysaccharides, and a daily serving contains a total of up to 1,200 mg of these ingredients. To obtain 4 g of this unique blend, 60 g of mushroom fruiting bodies were used. Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus), has a unique, coral-like shape and a delicate, slightly nutty flavour. Caterpillar Fungus (Cordyceps sinensis), a parasitic fungus that is characterised by an intense, earthy aroma. Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum), known as the ‘longevity mushroom’, has a hard, shiny surface and a slightly bitter taste. Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) has a dark, fissured texture reminiscent of charcoal. Shiitake (Lentinula edodes) has a meaty texture and is renowned for its taste, adding a unique depth of aroma to any dish. Maitake (Grifola frondosa), has an intense, slightly peppery flavour. Tremella (Tremella fuciformis) is a mushroom with a gelatinous texture, prized for its delicate flavour and properties. The honey mushroom (Pleurotus eryngii), otherwise known as King Trumpet, is distinguished by its large, fleshy caps and mild, slightly nutty flavour. Our 8-in-1 Mushroom Complex food supplement is available as a powder with a natural flavour and aroma that goes well with coffee, smoothies, soups or other meals. There is a measuring cup in the pack to help you measure precise portions. We recommend supplementing with 1 scoop (5 g) per day, adding it to e.g. 200 ml of your favourite beverage.
