The doll bed itself is very nice but unfortunately will not work for newborn photos. My daughter was 3 weeks old and already way too big for this (she was uncomfortable and her legs were totally scrunched). She was 8 lbs and 20 inches long in this photo for reference. I bought the small bed but would opt for the larger one if you’re buying this for newborn photos unless you have a very small baby
