Planner Four (November) First Grade Lessons: Alphabet, Knitting, Handwork & More

Description Note: Once you have completed Planner One you can do the rest of the year’s planners in any order. Holiday and seasonal activities for November are included in Planner Four. However, they are provided as extras so if you are living in an area of the world where the season is different or you don’t celebrate a certain holiday you will not be left out – you will still have a full month of activities! SPECIFICS: In Planner Four students are introduced to the letters M, N, F, T, V, W, Q, and X through original and creative stories, verses, activities and actions. Students will learn how to knit a square, a bow and an easy pair of slippers and will learn some more knitting stories. Students will also work on additional handwork projects this month using items from nature. Students will learn to play a new pentatonic recorder song this month using the unique Earthschooling method. Students will also learn to cook/bake four special items this month including Carrot Oat Cookies. Students will enjoy wonderful stories this month as always. Pictures are included with each lesson to guide the teacher. This monthly planner also comes with mp3s for the basic verses, mp3s for the monthly verses, and three teacher support documents: Waldorf 101, My Waldorf Year Planner and Waldorf Basics.
