Planner One First Grade Lessons: Core Lessons for the Year (Start Here)

Description Note: Once you have completed Planner One you can do the rest of the year’s blocks in any order. If you are using these monthly planners we recommend starting with the Planner One (could be used for the month of August) and then doing any month of the year after that (you do not need to teach these blocks in order, we just recommend that you start with Planner One) Holiday and seasonal activities for August are included in Planner One. However, they are provided as extras so if you are living in an area of the world where the season is different or you don’t celebrate a certain holiday you will not be left out – you will still have a full month of activities! SPECIFICS: Planner One covers a different form each week for the student’s Form Drawing Main Lesson Book and covers the sounds of vowels in wonderfully creative detail. Students this month will also learn how to knit using a beautiful knitting story and practice lessons. Students will learn how to make a special soup and three of the cornerstone breads we will be using this year. Students will also be introduced to the pentatonic recorder through beautiful stories and unique pentatonic recorder cards. Students will enjoy many wonderful stories as always and much more! Pictures are included with each lesson to guide the teacher. Themes this month include: Rhythm, Time, Guides and Crops & Harvest This monthly planner also comes with mp3s for the basic verses, mp3s for the monthly verses, and three teacher support documents: Waldorf 101, My Waldorf Year Planner and Waldorf Basics.
