I’m used to the miniature kits and this was my first book nook. I was concerned the snap together pieces would look cheap but the furniture looked really nice and was much easier than gluing. I did miss making the baubles and such that the miniature kits have, though. Some of the tiny pieces were really hard to snap in place. The hammer the kit comes with was very helpful for most pieces. I did break some but they glued in place nicely. Some difficult pieces I just cut off the ends and glued them in place. And then there were other pieces that did not fit tight and had to be glued. In the end it all came together beautifully! For the more fragile pieces the kit has two of in case one is broken. That was nice! Instructions were easy to follow. Just make sure you pay close attention to the direction of the pieces in the pictures. Also note the pieces that have protective film. (The film can be difficult to get started but then it comes right off.) I think I only used bad words a couple of times on this project! It’s worth it and will result in plenty of compliments!
