The mount consists of two mounting rings with QD (quick detach) levers and two separate bases that differ in height, making for a perfect alignment of your rifle scope. One base has a total height of 9.7 mm with a mounting height for the ring of 5.7 mm. The other has heights at respectively 6.9 and 3.1 mm. Both bases of the HexaLock 30 mm mount are attached to your rifle with the included mounting materials, after which the mounting rings can be placed. The QD-system enables you to remove your rifle scope, including the mounting rings, in a quick and easy way.
